OnaSadya (Onam Feast)



Menu:

  1. Pic1: Stew (potatoes and onions cooked in coconut milk with ginger and green chillies for flavour and spice)
  2. Pic 2: Avial (Mixed vegetables cooked in a mixture of paste made of coconut, jeera, green chillies, garlic, curd and garnished with curry leaves and coconut oil)
  3. Pic 3: a) Cabbage Toran (cabbage sabji, kerala style); b) Sambhar; c) Pulinji (tamarind/jaggery spicy chutney)
  4. Pic 4: Olan (Curry made with lobhia and lauki in coconut milk)                                                 
  5. Pic 5: Paripu Prathaman (Kheer made with moong dal, jaggery in coconut milk, tempered with roasted cashews, raisins and fried coconut pieces)
